Yalla is a song recorded by Romanian recording artist INNA for her fourth studio album, It was filmed in Marrakesh, Morocco , INNA (2015), and its Japanese release, Body And The Sun (2015). It was released on 3 November 2015 together with its digital remix EP.[1] "Yalla" was written by Marcel Botezan, Sebastian Barac and Nadir Tamuz Augustin, while production was handled by the first two, under the name of Play & Win. A music video for the song was directed by Barna Nemethi and premiered on Inna's YouTube channel on 12 November 2015, where it has since amassed 60 million views.[2] The recording was met with good reviews. Hitfire praised the song's beats and Inna's vocals, while also comparing the track to Major Lazer's "Lean On".[3]

Background and release
A music video for "Yalla" was released on 12 November 2015 onto Inna's YouTube channel, where it amassed over 28 million views as of February 2016.[2] The video runs for a duration of three minutes and 16 seconds.[2] It was filmed in Marrakesh, Morocco by Barna Nemethi.[4] The video features belly dancers, camels, an Arabic bazaar and the Moroccan desert.[3] The story of the clip presents Inna being chased by a Moroccan man through an Arabic-like setting. Hitfire praised the clip, stating that "it matches the oriental style of the song".[3]

Inna performed a stripped-down version of "Yalla" on Radio ZU, on 17 November 2015.[5] Upon its posting on YouTube, the clip amassed over 1 million views.[5]

"Yalla" debuted at number 94 on the native Airplay 100 on 12 November 2015 due to its strong airplay performance after the release of the album Inna,[7] and climbed to number 80 the next week.[8] On May 1, 2016, it reached its peak position at number 13.[9] "Yalla" opened at number 39 on the Bulgarian Singles Chart in late 2015 and reached its peak position at number nine on 27 December 2015.[10] Subsequently, it fell down to number ten after five weeks at that position. "Yalla" returned to its peak position at number nine on February 14, 2016.[10]
