2014 Winter Olympics Parade of Nations

During the Parade of Nations at the 2014 Winter Olympics opening ceremony, held beginning at 20:14 MST (UTC+4) on 7 February 2014, 88 athletes bearing the flags of their respective nations lead their national delegations as they paraded into the Fisht Olympic Stadium in the host city of Sochi, Russia.

Athletes entered the stadium in an order dictated by tradition. As the originator of the Olympics, Greece entered first. The Russian team entered last, representing the host nation. The names of the nations were announced first in French, followed by English and finally Russian, the official languages of the Olympic movement and of the host nation, in accordance with tradition and IOC guidelines.[1] The nations entered in alphabetic order of their country names in Russian.

Below is a list of parading countries and their announced flag bearer, in the same order as the parade. This is sortable by country name, flag bearer's name, or flag bearer's sport. Names are given in the form officially designated by the IOC.[2]
