The 2016–17 season will be Manchester United's 25th season in the Premier League, and their 42nd consecutive season in the top-flight of English football. As well as this, they will also compete in the two domestic cups, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Pre-season and friendlies

United will precede their 2016–17 campaign with a tour of China.[1]

Premier League

The Premier League season will kick-off on Saturday, 13 August and conclude on Sunday, 21 May.

FA Cup

United will enter the FA Cup at the Third Round stage with the other Premier League clubs, as well as those from the Championship. The draw will be made in December 2016 with the ties taking place in January 2017.
