The 2016 Indianapolis Colts season will be the franchise's upcoming 64th season in the National Football League and the 33rd in Indianapolis. It will also be the fifth season under the trio of head coach Chuck Pagano, general manager Ryan Grigson and quarterback Andrew Luck.

Preseason

On February 16, the NFL announced that the Colts will play the Green Bay Packers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The game will occur on Sunday, August 7, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, and will air at 8:00 p.m. EDT on the NFL Network. NBC, which usually carries the game, will be unable to do so due to their coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics.[3] The two teams will also meet during the regular season in Green Bay.

The remainder of the Colts' preseason opponents and schedule were later announced on April 7.

Regular season

On November 25, 2015, the NFL announced that the Colts will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in the International Series at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The game will occur during Week 4 on Sunday, October 2, and will be aired by CBS in the United States. The kickoff time was announced on April 14, and the Jaguars will be the designated home team for this game.[4]

The remainder of the Colts' 2016 schedule, with exact dates and times, was finalized and announced on April 14.
