Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur is a coeducational, private college located in Durgapur, West Bengal, India. The college has recently been honoured with the "Outstanding Engineering Institute (East) award by the 8th DNA Innovative Education Awards in 2016. Previously it has been honoured with the same title for three consecutive times in a row by ABP News National Education Awards in the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. It is one of the best institutes for pursuing higher technical education in the eastern region.

It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Technology. The college was set up Sksgi ,in 2001. The Ex Chief minister of West Bengal, Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and other Ministers and dignitaries such as Late Mrinal Banerjee, Shri Banso Gopal Choudhury, Late Subhash Chakraborty, Shri Surya Kanta Misra have visited the college campus. It is located in Bidhan Nagar, a locality in Durgapur.

Bengal College of Engineering & Technology is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), under Ministry of HRD, the Government of India and is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Ajad University of Technology (MKAUT). It is recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
