Borod (Hungarian: Nagybáród) is a commune in Bihor County, northwestern Romania with a population of 4,022 people. It is composed of six villages: Borod, Borozel (Kisbáród), Cetea (Cséklye), Corniţel (Báródsomos), Şerani (Sárán) and Valea Mare de Criş (Felsőpatak).
