Coordinates: 46°48′0″N 22°24′0″E / 46.80000°N 22.40000°E Roşia (Hungarian: Biharrósa) is a large commune in Romania, Bihor County, around 21 kilometers north from the town of Beiuş. It is composed of two villages, Lazuri (Lázurihegy) and Roşia.
General information
Roşia has a large surface area and it lies at the edge of the Apuseni Mountains.
The commune has beautiful landscapes, mountain rivers, caves and large forests.
Population
According to the 2002 census all of the 2636 inhabitants of the commune are Romanian. 87.6% are Romanian Orthodox and 12.3% Pentecostal.
