Cărpinet (Hungarian: Kerpenyéd) is a commune in Bihor County, northwestern Romania with a population of 2,174 people. It is composed of four villages: Călugări (Kalugyer), Cărpinet, Izbuc (Vaskohszohodol) and Leheceni (Lehecsény).
