Clarin is a fifth income class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines,[2]at a distance of 61 km (38 mi) from Tagbilaran. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 20,296.[3] In the 2013 election, it had 13,160 registered voters.[4]

2013 Bohol earthquake in Clarin
Clarin was severely affected by the 2013 Bohol earthquake that damaged 1358 homes, of which 221 were totally destroyed, together with the Catholic church.[6]
