Dejavu is the ninth studio album by Japanese singer/songwriter Kumi Koda. It was released on March 2, 2011, one month after her single POP DIVA.[1] Just like her previous studio albums, Dejavu topped Oricon at #1 and remained on the charts for twenty-four weeks.[2]

The album was released in two editions: CD and CD+2DVD First Press Limited Edition. After CD+2DVD sold out, a CD+DVD version was released.[3] The first DVD contained four new music videos and an "album version" of POP DIVA. BE MY BABY and め組のひと were both given music videos, though they were not released on the CD. On the CD+2DVD editions, the first half of Koda Kumi's Dream music park @Yokohama Stadium' played after the music videos and the second DVD housed the other half.[4][5]

The album was certified platinum by the RIAJ after its release.[6]

Promotional Advertisements

Okay and 逢いたくて (Aitakute / Want to See You) were both used to advertise Kracie's いち髪 (Ichikami) shampoo range, which featured Koda Kumi as the spokesperson for the surrounding marketing campaign.[7][8]

Melting was used as the theme song to Sogo & Seibu's Winter City.[9]

Hey baby! was used as the opening song for popular anime Crayon Shin-chan for its 12th season.[10]

Bambi was used to advertise 7net Shopping's online store.[11]
