Ima Sugu Hoshii (今すぐ欲しい / Want You Now) is the ninth single in Koda Kumi's 12 Single Collection. Like the other singles, this single is also limited to 50,000 copies. It debuted at #2 on Oricon Daily, taking #5 for the week and charted for seven weeks.[1]
The song is a cover of the Sugar Soul song by the same name, originally released in January 1997 and later put on their album Those Days.[2] Sugar Soul's DJ HASEBE reproduced the single with Koda Kumi. The rap that is performed in Koda Kumi's cover was not in the original song and was written by Japanese rapper ZEEBRA.[3]
The single was released in Korea under the name Jigeum baro weonhaeyo (지금 바로 원해요 / I want it right now).[4]
Cover
Like the other singles in the collection, the cover art for Ima Sugu Hoshii took influence from another country, France, and showcased the art form of ballet.
