Rachel is an aspiring starlet in a relationship with Levi. They love each other although Levi is sometimes jealous of all the attention Rachel is getting, especially from men. Problems arise when the governor of the province Edmundo Guatlo starts liking and ends up obsessing over Rachel. They try to break free from Guatlo's influence, but he is just too powerful and influential. With the help of RJ, son of Guatlo's brother (whom he assassinated), they uncover the many corrupt practices of Guatlo.
