Kateřinice is a village and municipality (obec) in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 13.36 square kilometres (5.16 sq mi), and has a population of 959 (as at 3 July 2006).

The village was named as the Village of the Year in 2014.[1]

Kateřinice lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Vsetín, 24 km (15 mi) north-east of Zlín, and 261 km (162 mi) east of Prague.
