List of birds of Quebec

The province of Quebec is home to hundreds of species of birds; the snowy owl is the bird of Quebec.

Although some birds are year-round residents, the four seasons present in the province cause many species to migrate to more temperate climates during the colder seasons, similarly, many northern birds will be found in Quebec migrating from Nunavut and from the Arctic. Given its Atlantic and Arctic ocean borders, birds that spend most of their time on the high seas are spotted off the coast or nesting upon it. Often many birds' ranges extend way beyond the borders of men.
