Lorsica (Ligurian: Lòrsega) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 492 and an area of 17.8 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Lorsica contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Acqua, Barbagelata, Castagnelo, Figarolo, Monteghirfo, and Verzi.
Lorsica borders the following municipalities: Cicagna, Favale di Malvaro, Mocònesi, Montebruno, Neirone, Orero, Rezzoaglio, Torriglia.
