Stranger Things is a television drama series created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer that is slated to debut in 2016 on Netflix.[1]

The show is a 1980s drama series set in Indiana (originally to be set in Montauk, New York), where a young boy vanishes into thin air.[2][3] There will be eight hour-long episodes that will premiere on July 15, 2016.[4] It will be written and directed by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer and executive produced by Shawn Levy.[5] It was previously titled Montauk.[6]
