Ostrov u Macochy is a small town (městys) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of 8.84 square kilometres (3.41 sq mi), and has a population of 1,076 (as at 3 July 2006).
Ostrov u Macochy lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Blansko, 23 km (14 mi) north-east of Brno, and 186 km (116 mi) south-east of Prague.
