Vážany is a village and municipality (obec) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.86 square kilometres (1.88 sq mi), and has a population of 206 (as at 28 August 2006).
Vážany lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Blansko, 37 km (23 mi) north of Brno, and 176 km (109 mi) east of Prague.
