Vavřinec is a village and municipality (obec) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 12.24 square kilometres (4.73 sq mi), and has a population of 832 (as at 2005).
Vavřinec lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Blansko, 24 km (15 mi) north of Brno, and 182 km (113 mi) south-east of Prague.
