Racecourse Station is a station on the East Rail Line of Hong Kong. It was opened in 1985 and is only used on race days and special days held in the Sha Tin Racecourse. There are single journey tickets to the station available separately. It is linked with Sha Tin and University stations, and is situated parallel to Fo Tan.

Station layout

Racecourse only has one island platform, and signs do not indicate which direction the trains are going (e.g. Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau). Therefore, passengers need to follow directions of MTR staff and the electronic display for the direction of trains which pass Racecourse station every 10–15 minutes.
