Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation is the civic body that governs the city of Rajahmundry in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]

Jurisdiction

The corporation is spread over an area of 56.03 km2 (21.63 sq mi). On 18 March 2013, 21 panchayats were included in the Rajahmundry corporation, which includes, Bommuru, Burugupudi, Chakradwarabandham, Dowleswaram, Gadala, Hukumpeta, Katheru, Kolamuru, Lalacheruvu, Madhurapudi, Namavaram, Narendrapuram, Nidigatla, Palacherla, Pidimgoyyi, Rajanagaram, Rajavolu, Satellite city, Thorredu, Velugubanda, Venkatanagaram.[2][3]

Administration

The corporation is administered by an elected body, headed by the Mayor. The corporation population as per the 2011 Census of India was 343,903. The present commissioner of the corporation is Pantam Rajini Sesha Sai and the Mayor is J.Murali.[4][5]
