Sircilla is a town in Karimnagar district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Sircilla mandal of Sircilla revenue division.[2]

Sircilla is located at 18°23′N 78°50′E / 18.38°N 78.83°E.[3] It has an average elevation of 322 metres (1056 feet).

Civic Administration
Sircilla municipality is the civic body of the city. Sircilla urban agglomeration area includes the municipality of Sircilla, the out growths of Sircilla (rural) and Mustipalle. As of 2011 census of India, the urban agglomeration population of the city was 83,186.[2]
Economy
Nearly 80% of the people are employed as weavers, or textile dyeing workers. Thread material made up of Polyester and cotton are the raw products used in the weaving.
In early 2000s, Sircilla's powerloom business faced major crisis, leading to suicides by many weavers.[6][7]
The local market in Sircilla sells a variety of vegetables, fruits and other items from the many surrounding villages.
