Survivor South Africa: Malaysia is the second season of the reality television show Survivor South Africa. The series is very similar to the American version of the show, with two teams (and later one group) of contestants vying for a large sum of money while stranded in a remote location. Each episode, one contestant is voted off of the show by his or her comrades, wittling the group down until only one survivor remains.
Many changes were announced for the second season by M-Net, which airs the show. This included the addition of two contestants, a shorter filming period (27 days), the change in location (Johor, Malaysia), and a pre-show vote by South African citizens to choose one of the contestants. However, the show's format remained much the same, with the prize set at 1,000,000. Mark Bayly hosted this season.
The application process ended on 2 April 2007. According to M-Net's website, two thirds of the entries in 2007 were from males. The percentage of applicants in the 40-59 age group was also higher than in 2006, and the 20 oldest applicants were 77 years old. This may quell another concern that emerged in the first season: that all of the contestants had backgrounds that were too similar. The 16th contestant, Lorette Mostert, was voted in by South Africans via M-Net's website () between 23–30 April 2007. Filming began in mid-May and ended in June. The show was initially broadcast 22 August – 14 November 2007.

Elimination notes
- Nomfundo - Voted out of her tribe 4-3-1. She was seen as a threat in keeping the numbers in the latter part of the game as she was weak in the water challenges so far by an alliance of Viwe, Grant, Lisa and Irshaad.
- Nicola - Voted out of her tribe 5-3. With Elsie in the foreground speaking out and retaliating after Bajau lost their first immunity challenge, Rijesh changed the target from Dyke to the weakest out of the workers Nicola.
- Viwe - Voted out of his tribe 5-2. He suffered from a lack of food and stated at tribal council he was not part of any alliances.
- Elsie - Voted out of her tribe 5-1. A surprise tribal shuffle had placed Elsie in her opposing tribe Iban with three other of her Bajau tribemates. After the immunity challenge, she had injured her hand and arm. Since the whole tribe would have to partake in the challenges ahead, the former Bajau members decided to let Elsie go.
- Nichal - Voted out of his tribe 6-1. After the tribal shuffle on day 9, Nichal was in a tribe of 3 former Bajau and 4 former Iban members. Despite being in a majority alliance, Nichal was voted out.
- Rijesh - Voted out of his tribe 4-1. His clever removal of Nicola from the game was his downfall as his back then alliance partner Amanda saw a snake-like personality in him, which contributed to his ousting.
- Lisa - Voted out of her tribe 5-1. Her lazy antics in the beginning of the game created a negative attitude towards herself and after seen the weakest in the new Bajau tribe as she sat out the last three challenges, her former Iban tribemates voted her off with support from the original Bajau members Hein and Angela.
- Irshaad - Voted out of his tribe 3-1. His explosive personality which came out in previous challenges separated him from the rest of the new Iban tribemates remaining, especially his original Iban tribemate Angie. She thought he had to go and the others followed her lead.
- Hein - Voted out of the tribe 4-4. In a four by four tie against Lorette, a sudden death tie breaker ensued. Lorette won, and Hein was eliminated. This was not revealed until the start of the next episode.
- Dyke - Voted out of the tribe 4-2-1. The strongest castaway post merge and a big target. After losing the second individual immunity challenge, Dyke was eliminated.
- Angela - Voted out of her tribe 4-1-1 In a minority alliance, she was voted out by everyone except for Grant who voted for Amanda.
- Angie - Voted out of the tribe 3-2. After betraying Lorette and Mandla's trust for targeting Lorette for the previous tribal council, Angie created a rift in the Iban alliance. Amanda, seeing the opportunity of staying around the next couple of days, sided with Lorette to vote out Angie.
- Mandla - Eliminated in the final 4 immunity challenge: a last-man-standing endurance contest where the first to fall into the water was eliminated. Surprisingly, Mandla hit the water first.
- Amanda - Voted out of the tribe. Lorette had won the final immunity challenge. She had the choice of her alliance partner Grant or former Bajau member Amanda. Amanda's efforts to convince Lorette to take her to the final two were unsuccessful, and she became the final member of the jury.
- Grant - Lost to Lorette 2-3. Despite being seen as a "true player of the game", he did not receive enough votes from the jury to win the game.
- Lorette - Sole Survivor 3-2. Being a hard worker from day one had put Lorette in all her tribes' good books. She managed to keep her head when she needed to and she won crucial immunity challenges without once breaking her alliance with Mandla.
