Velký Bor is a village and municipality (obec) in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 17.84 square kilometres (6.89 sq mi), and has a population of 585 (as at 31 July 2009).
Velký Bor lies approximately 31 kilometres (19 mi) east of Klatovy, 49 km (30 mi) south-east of Plzeň, and 96 km (60 mi) south-west of Prague.
