Vrhaveč is a village and municipality (obec) in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 12.1 square kilometres (4.7 sq mi), and has a population of 861 (as at 3 July 2006).
Vrhaveč lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Klatovy, 46 km (29 mi) south of Plzeň, and 116 km (72 mi) south-west of Prague.
