The 2016–17 Cypriot First Division is the 79th season of the Cypriot top-level football league.
Teams
Promotion and relegation (pre-season)
Enosis and Ayia Napa were relegated at the end of the first-phase of the 2015–16 season.
The relegated team were replaced by AEZ, Anagennisi and Karmiotissa.
