Balham and Tooting by-election, 1936
The Balham and Tooting by-election of 1936 was held on 23 July 1936. The by-election was held due to the resignation of the incumbent Conservative MP, Sir Alfred Butt, 1st Baronet. It was won by the Conservative candidate George Frederick Doland.[1]
