Wandsworth Central by-election, 1940

The Wandsworth Central by-election of 1940 was held on 22 June 1940. The by-election was held due to the elevation to the peerage of the incumbent Labour MP, Harry Nathan. It was won by the Labour candidate Ernest Bevin.[1] He was elected unopposed.[2]
