Bloomington Township is located in McLean County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,851 and it contained 1,127 housing units.[1] it is adjacent to the city of Bloomington.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 21.24 square miles (55.0 km2), of which 21.2 square miles (55 km2) (or 99.81%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.19%) is water.[1]
