Cavazzo Carnico (Friulan: Cjavàç,[1] Slovene: Karnijsko Kamno) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,116 and an area of 38.6 square kilometres (14.9 sq mi).[2]
