Hvožďany is a village and municipality (obec) in Domažlice District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 2.99 square kilometres (1.15 sq mi), and has a population of 30 (as at 3 July 2006).
Hvožďany lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-west of Domažlice, 52 km (32 mi) south-west of Plzeň, and 136 km (85 mi) south-west of Prague.
