Karen Ludwig is a Canadian Liberal politician, who was elected to represent the riding of New Brunswick Southwest in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 federal election.[1] Prior to being elected, Ludwig was a small business owner and a Certificate International Trade Professional (CITP).[2]

Professional career

Before entering politics, Ludwig earned her CITP designation in 2002 from the Forum for International Trade Training. She received a master of Arts degree from the University of Guelph in 1989, and was employed with Meritus University in the role of the Director for Academic Affairs. Before being employed by Meritus, she was employed by the New Brunswick Community College as an instructor and e-learning leader - also teaching classes on international business and supervising students during Cuban study terms.[3]

Personal life

Ludwig lives in the riding with her husband, and enjoys long-distance running. She is also a member of the St. Andrews Chamber of Commerce.[2]
