The Nanchang–Ganzhou High-Speed Railway is a High-Speed Railway[1] currently under construction between Nanchang and Ganzhou in Jiangxi province in China. This forms the northern section of the larger Nanchang-Shenzhen High-Speed Railway. The southern section of that railway, the Ganzhou–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, will commence construction in January 2015. This will eventually allow for fast connections from Jiangxi to several coastal cities in Guangdong and Fujian.

Construction work began on December 20, 2014 between Nanchang and Ji'an.[2] The 880-kilometre (550 mi) railway is expected to take five years to complete. The length of the railway will be 422 kilometres (262 mi) with 13 stations scheduled to be built. The design speed will be 350 km/h (217 mph) between Nanchang and Ganzhou.

Once completed it is expected to reduce travel times for Nanchang to Ganzhou from five hours to two hours.
