Zhengzhou–Jiaozuo Intercity Railway is one of 14 lines operating, under construction or planned around Zhengzhou, Henan province, China. It links Zhengzhou with the city of Jiaozuo. Construction was started on December 29, 2009, and was completed by April 5, 2015. Testing commenced in May 2015[1] before being officially opened on June 26, 2015.[2] Total journey time between the two terminii is 40 minutes.[3] It is 77.786 km (48 mi) long, of which 9.648 km (6 mi) is shared with the Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway and 68.138 km (42 mi) of new trackage. It was jointly funded by the Henan Provincial Government and the now defunct Ministry of Railways.
