Podkopná Lhota is a village and municipality (obec) in Zlín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.82 square kilometres (1.86 sq mi), and has a population of 340 (as at 3 July 2006).
Podkopná Lhota lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Zlín and 260 km (162 mi) east of Prague.
