The Ministry for Culture of Russia (Russian: Министерство культуры Российской Федерации; Минкультуры России) is a Russian Federal Ministry in the Russian Government that responsible for state policy in Cultural spheres, Art, Cinematography, archives, and inter-nations issues. The responsibilities of the Ministry includes censorship of anti-Russian films.[2]
Structure
Formed in May 2, 2008 on basic of the Ministry for Culture and Mass Media (Министерство культуры и массовых коммуникаций Российской Федерации).[3] In the past, the Culture Ministry was operated between 1953-1992, and 1992-2004 (While between March and September 1992 the ministry was known as Ministry for Culture and Tourism (Министерство культуры и туризма Российской Федерации).
