Tanjong Rhu MRT Station (TE23) is an upcoming underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Singapore. Located in southern Kallang, the station will serve Water Place, Pebble Bay, Casuarina Cove, Camelot, Tanjong Ria Condo, Parkshore and Sanctuary Green condominiums.[1] As the Singapore Indoor Stadium and the new National Stadium are located directly opposite the Geylang River, this station will also serve the Singapore Sports Hub, complimenting the existing Stadium MRT station.
History
This station was first announced on 15 August 2014.[2]
