Želiv is a village and municipality (obec) in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 26.04 square kilometres (10.05 sq mi), and has a population of 1,097 (as at 3 July 2006).
Želiv lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Pelhřimov, 31 km (19 mi) north-west of Jihlava, and 85 km (53 mi) south-east of Prague.
