Zhořec is a village and municipality (obec) in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.83 square kilometres (2.25 sq mi), and has a population of 128 (as at 2 October 2006).
Zhořec lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) west of Pelhřimov, 46 km (29 mi) west of Jihlava, and 78 km (48 mi) south-east of Prague.
