Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Albert Georg Brux (11 November 1907 – 16 December 2001) was a highly decorated Oberstleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Albert Brux was captured by Soviet forces in January 1945, he was held until 1956.
