Ernst Voß (3 November 1899 – 11 October 1943) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II. Between World War I and World War II he was a Police Officer. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Ernst Voß was killed on 11 October 1943 near Nowo-Lipiwo, Ukraine. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor and on 28 October 1943 was awarded the Oak Leaves to his Knight's Cross.
