Julie VanOrden[1] (born in Pocatello, Idaho) is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2012 representing District 31 in the B seat.[2]
Education
VanOrden attended Blackfoot High School, the College of Southern Idaho, and earned her associate degree from Idaho State University's vocational technical school.
Elections
- 2012 With Republican Representative Tom Loertscher redistricted to 32B, VanOrden challenged redistricted Representative Jim Marriott, and won the May 15, 2012 Republican Primary with 3,891 votes (62.4%),[3] and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 12,989 (75.8%) against Democratic nominee Jeannie James.[4]
