Thomas E. Dayley (born February 15, 1944 in Burley, Idaho)[1] is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2012 representing District 21 in the B seat.[2]
Education
Dayley earned his BA degrees in political science and Spanish from Brigham Young University and his MA in international relations from the University of Southern California.
Elections
- 2012 Dayley challenged Republican Representative Clifford Bayer for the District 21 A seat, Bayer switched to run for the open senate seat; Dayley won the four-way May 15, 2012 Republican Primary with 1,052 votes (34.3%)[3] and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 12,858 votes (64.8%) against Democratic nominee Karla Miller.[4]
- 2010 Dayley had originally challenged Bayer in the May 25, 2010, Republican primary, but lost.[5]
