Thomas E. Dayley (born February 15, 1944 in Burley, Idaho)^[1] is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2012 representing District 21 in the B seat.^[2]

Education

Dayley earned his BA degrees in political science and Spanish from Brigham Young University and his MA in international relations from the University of Southern California.

Elections

2012 Dayley challenged Republican Representative Clifford Bayer for the District 21 A seat, Bayer switched to run for the open senate seat; Dayley won the four-way May 15, 2012 Republican Primary with 1,052 votes (34.3%)^[3] and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 12,858 votes (64.8%) against Democratic nominee Karla Miller.^[4]
2010 Dayley had originally challenged Bayer in the May 25, 2010, Republican primary, but lost.^[5]
