Monee Township is located in Will County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 15,669 and it contained 6,182 housing units.[1] Monee Township used to be known as Carcy Township, but the name was changed at an unknown date.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.87 square miles (92.9 km2), of which 35.8 square miles (93 km2) (or 99.80%) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) (or 0.20%) is water.[1]
