Ubay Poblacion
Ubay Poblacion is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines. The barangay serves as the central barangay or town centre of the municipality.
The barangay's total land area is 199 hectares (490 acres).[3] According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 3,633, making it the most populated barangay in the municipality. In the 2013 election, it had 2,355 registered voters, meaning that 65% of the population are aged 18 and over.[2]
Poblacion celebrates its annual fiesta on the last Friday of January in honor of their patron saint.
Geography
Poblacion is bounded to the north by Camotes Sea, to the east by Fatima, to the south by Bood, and to the west by Casate and Tapon.
