Visa policy of Belize

Visitors to Belize require a visa unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries. All visitors are required to have sufficient funds, US$75 per day, and documents required for their next destination.[1]

Visa exemption
Holders of passports of the following 97 jurisdictions do not require a visa to visit Belize.[2][3][4][5][6]
Holders of passports issued to British Overseas Territories citizens do not require a visa.
Holders of diplomatic or official passports of Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Peru and Taiwan do not require a visa.
Clearance required
Citizens of the following countries require clearance in addition to visa:[2]
Repatriation fee
Citizens of the following countries must pay a repatriation fee of (unless otherwise noted) BZD 1,200 (approximately US$600) on arrival:[7]
Bangladesh
China – BZD 3,000
India
Pakistan
Sri Lanka
US visa holders
United States multiple entry visa holders and permanent residents may obtain a visa on arrival.[8]
