Visa policy of Colombia


Visitors to Colombia must obtain a visa from one of the Colombian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.

Holders of passports of the following 95 jurisdictions do not require visa to enter Colombia:[1][2]
ID - May enter with an ID card too.
- Colombia also requires that citizens of Bangladesh, Cuba, Ghana and Somalia apply for a transit visa before transiting through the country.[4]
- Visitors arriving at San Andrés and Leticia must buy tourist cards on arrival.[5]
- Canadian citizens must pay a reciprocity fee of 171,000 Colombian Pesos (±70 USD) except for tourists arriving at San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. [6]
- Holders of diplomatic or official/service passports of China, Egypt, India, Iran, Lebanon, Mongolia, Morocco, Thailand, Ukraine and Vietnam and holders of official passports of Cuba do not require a visa.[7]
Holders of United States Visa or Schengen Visa, from the following countries are granted visa-free access:[8]
