Visa policy of Papua New Guinea
A foreign national wishing to enter Papua New Guinea must obtain a visa unless he or she is a citizen of one of the countries eligible for visa on arrival. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.

Nationals of the following 70 countries and territories may obtain a free visa valid for 60 days (extension is possible for a fee[1]) on arrival at Port Moresby or Tokua (Rabaul):[2][3][4]
1 - Also applicable to passports issued to residents of French and Dutch territories in the Caribbean.[3]
2 - Also applicable to passports issued to residents of Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau.[3]
3 - Also applicable to passports issued to residents of Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.[3]
Visa requirement
Nationals of the following countries must obtain an Entry Permit from a Papua New Guinea diplomatic mission (or Australian mission where Papua New Guinea is not represented) before travelling to Papua New Guinea (as visa on arrival is not available to nationals of these countries):[5]
