Kanice is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 8.23 square kilometres (3.18 sq mi), and has a population of 607 (as at 3 July 2006).
Kanice lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Brno and 189 km (117 mi) south-east of Prague.
