Vranovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 13.79 square kilometres (5.32 sq mi), and has a population of 2,002 (as at 31 December 2007).
Vranovice lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) south of Brno and 201 km (125 mi) south-east of Prague.
